Allow Me To Introduce Myself…

I am Lora Mitchell. Writer, educator, advocate, and organizer.

I have been active in political movements, education, and advocacy since my college days in the early 00s (What a time to be alive?!)

Since that time I have worked as an educator of middle and high schools students, youth minister, mental health/education/social justice advocate, and a political organizer on several political campaigns.

In my storied career and life, I have learned that when injustice comes to your doorstep, you have to fight it at every turn. What I have also learned though is that HOW you fight is just as important as THAT you fight.

In our current fights against the attempts to destroy this multicultural, multiracial, innovation forward, inclusive, functioning society, it is incumbent upon us to learn how to fight, not just against those who seek to destroy that society, but also how to fight for society and future that we want.

In this Substack, you will find articles, notes, chats, and other types of media, as time goes on, that will teach you different strategies and templates for fighting different types of fights.

I hope you enjoy your time here. Feel free to drop a comment, share, or message to continue the conversations started here.
